So far I’ve made her very happy, she says it works great – I bought it to give it to my god daughter as a gift. She lives in a country where mobile phones are really expensives. So far I’ve made her very happy, she says it works great, good pics, screen big enough. Compared to other brands, about same price I like BLU better. What she likes the least is the color.

Good value. – I bought a BLU phone on the recommendation of a friend who had also bought an earlier model. After much research and comparison, I took the plunge and bought this with the 16GB, 2GB RAM. It has served me nicely for about 6 weeks now and I really like it. It’s fast and easy to use. The only thing I find inconvenient sometimes is the on/off button which is on the side. When I handle the phone to pull it from a pocket or bag or anytime, really, I can hit this button which is annoying. I think it would be better designed with the button at the top, like an IPhone or near the top on the side and not in the middle as it is now. As others have commented, the battery life is good – around 2 days if you don’t do a lot of video. All around a good medium priced phone. I think it is a good value.

3 Major issues – This phone is really great for the price, even has features my LG G6 has and some it doesn’t. But i have 3 major issues after having it for around 2 months. The WiFi/Data/Bluetooth receiver inside my device is faulty. I will frequently drop all service or Bluetooth devices i am connected to. Only after resetting the phone two times does it work again. It also now takes 5 clicks of the power button to turn on my screen. An odd and annoying issue. Finally, the SD card reader in the phone does not work anymore. It refuses to recognize any SD cards of ranging sizes and brands. But the build quality is amazing, camera is amazing, and the basic android look is nice.

BEWARE! Malware and a backdoor preinstalled on this phone that cannot be uninstalled or disabled. Personal info at risk! – Beware! There are 3 different Trojan malware / viruses preinstalled on this phone that force you to look at ads on your homescreen, and put your personal information at risk! Download a malware detector like Malwarebytes to see if your phone has it. Very upset that a brand new phone would have malware preinstalled on it. I can’t even answer phone calls in a timely manner because the ads cover the call button and layer on top of one another. And as a bonus, you cannot disable or uninstall the malware, meaning you can’t get rid of the ads or prevent it from reading and saving anything you access on your phone. I have contacted BLU customer support- we’ll see if they even have a solution to this, or if I’ll just have to send the phone back for something else. More than likely by another brand. A brand new phone should NEVER compromise your personal info this way or force you to see ads every time you use it.

Faulty phone battery – I bought this phone in late April 2018 for birthday present to my nephew in Nicaragua, C. A. I had previously bought this same phone for my Mom the previous year who also lives in Nicaragua. While my mother’s phone worked well my nephew’s phone battery didn’t even last 2 months and I bought them brand new..I would like to know how to purchase a new battery and be sent to me because he can not find the same battery in that country. ..very disappointed the second time..
