Great for my Dad – My dad has lost or broken his last 2 iPhones. He’s 81 and doesn’t like the touch screen for dialing and typing. So, I got him this rugged duty flip phone with actual buttons. It doesn’t have a camera and is really for phone calls and text not any web apps or browsing. But, he loves it and it’s withstood several drops so Kudos!

Would highly recommend this phone to anyone that wants to break away from the Smartphone Zombie land LOL. Call quality is great, and texting is super old school t9 typing. This is a phone that if you drop on sidewalk or in water it would not be a problem. The great thing about Kyocera phones is the always get a lot of updates. I received 2 on day one and on my last Kyocera flip phone received update for the first 2 years. The phone may be a little pricey BUT you do get what you pay for. 5-star basic flip phone PERIOD!

I wish I could get the google play App Store on here. I’m sure there is a way. There is no App Store on this phone though. So no navigation apps available or other basic apps…I’m thinking this is just a by product of having an “Unlocked Phone”. I’m sure if you bought this phone from Verizon or ATT directly, you’d have access to all the normal apps (limited to flip phones of course). The biggest disappointment is that the phone doesn’t even have a camera on it – like the picture shows.
