Good phone! – I’ve had this phone for about a week and am happy with it for the most part. I previously owned this phone and was very happy with it and ended up giving it to my son. My only concern right now is that it seems to ‘clock’ a lot and frequently is unable to connect, for example it says that a connection can’t be made to the app do you want to close or wait. If this happened only infrequently I wouldn’t mention it, but it seems to be happening quite a bit. Sometimes I will restart the phone to see if it helps but I’m not confident that it makes a difference. Since I have other phones (phone geek) I will check to see if they are having issues with the same app and find that it is not the case, so it seems to be unique to this phone. I’ve even taken the Moto Mod battery off to see if it was interfering in some way but saw no improvement. Again, I wouldn’t have purchased this phone again if there wasn’t a lot of good to be said about it, but I wanted to mention my current issue and I hope that with time it might improve. Otherwise I will have to be more patient than usual and either wait or restart the phone when this happens.

I attempted to get a new one, but they wanted me to return mine first–which was not helpful or convenient as shipping takes several days. It also has a hard time with my battery mod and often wont connect to it.

IT WAS STATED IN description that it was unlocked this was false! – I did exactly what the Amazon certified refurbished unlocked phone instructed and phone still didn’t work I try to contact PowerUp deals they have not called me back so I’m returning this phone. might be a waste of time try a different seller

Mods is a must – Good phone and entertaining with the mods unfortunately it cannot handle multitasking as well as recent phones. It’s outdated in my opinion and should only be used as quick entertainment with the mods. I don’t own the Verizon version so i don’t know how well the phone wouldve been with the 5g mod. But for the 2 mods I did purchase, the projector and speaker, it’s quite enjoyable. The polaroid mod app no longer available making the mod obsolete and the camera mod was junk. The mods is such an amazing concept that I wish they continued it but sadly, will probably never see another phone or a variety of mods.

But the z play 3 edition is rugged and power pact for power users in the android android form factor. Excellent hard ware I own 3 soon to be 4
