DON’T BUY PINWHEEL!!! – PSA: Do Not buy a Pinwheel phone for your kids. Just don’t do it. We chose it over a Gabb phone for the additional safe apps it promised. And so our daughter could still stream her music and keep her same playlists. She had the phone for less than a year before it broke. Not dropped. No water damage. The dumb thing simply stopped working. After 11 months. Before that, it was glitchy, unresponsive, and all the so-called “safe” apps had to be removed, as they led to internet access.

Cell phone with no social media! – I like that they have no social media and a separate app on my iPhone to monitor texts and add apps. Kids don’t beg for apps like they do with their iPad because there’s not an App Store to look at. I’ve had it for over a year. I got it before they came on Amazon.

Best phone for kids and teens. – Hands down this is the best kids phone on the market and we’ve tried flip phones, Gabb, etc, Pinwheel looks like an iPhone and has everything a kid would need without social media, YouTube and a web browser and I can see everything through an app on my phone. Nothing for me to set up except the pre-configured schedule when he gets to use it. I have no worries about him getting places online he doesn’t belong. And we had the flexibility to use any carrier. The world would be a lot safer if all kids & teens had a Pinwheel.
