Phone light, loud, and great price. Easy buy. – I love this phone. I cannot find one thing wrong with it. Yes, it works fine with 4g lte. I use it for Spotify, Pandora, Kindle app, an EQ app, a pdf reading app, phone, and text messaging. The volume on the phone calls is too loud to be turned all the way up. I had to turn volume down 40% because of how loud it is (That’s is a good thing–as I’ve heard others complain about how low volume their expensive phones are.) The phone is super light. The battery is heavier than the phone. I love how I can hold this phone in my hand and it does not slip out of it like the Samsung S8 does. It grips easier, too. The phone comes with Android 5, but it will update to Android 8 automatically once you select update. At only 16gb internal storage, you will suck that up quickly with apps. But I’ve installed all the apps I’m going to install and I still have 8gb free space. But remember that you can download the apk files directly and install them on your sdcard, if you run out of storage. I have a 256gb micro sdcard, and that works well, too. The phone has quadcore processing, so it’s fast enough…almost noticed no difference between it and my expensive Samsung S8. With my 4 apps and the system apps, I am sucking up 1gb of the 2gb memory. This phone fits super easy into any pocket–shirt or pants. It’s so light, I carry it in my shirt front pocket. There’s almost no bloatware on this phone, and the 3 or 4 games that come installed on it can be uninstalled.

Simple phone – not fancy – but does the job. – I had an earlier model of the J3 & was very pleased with it. That’s the main reason. It’s a very nice & easy phone to use. Not a lot of bells & whistles – suits me just fine.

A really satisfying new phone – far better than its entry level price. – I was on an iPhone 6, until it stopped working; the IC needed to be replaced, which would’ve been $100. So I started shopping for a new/current phone, and after a bunch of research, landed on this J3. It’s basically the same size as the iPhone 6 (a tiny bit physically bigger, with a larger viewable area), and it’s super solid. Now, it’s not a $500 iPhone (or a $750 XR or an $1100 XPlus…) so it’s got some limitations. The camera isn’t as good, and I don’t think the processor is AS fast. I haven’t noticed any issues in any real important apps, but, while I don’t play a lot of super modern games, Clash of Clans can get a tiny bit jittery in busy moments. When I think about the first phone I got for the same amount of money in 1997 (the Nokia 101 I think…) it’s amazing that I can get this much technology for a price that’s this reasonable.
