Unlocked and Ready – Bought second hand, and despite an issue with a missing back cover, the seller offered a refund to buy a back cover locally. Which I thought reasonably. The Samsung Galaxy J3 J320A is perfect for me for personal use with social media use and tracking work. A good recommedation for economic weary people who want a Samsung.

Great smartphone – Love my new phone….so easy to use. First smartphone too. The only drawback is it doesn’t take the world’s greatest pictures….but I am still happy with it. I still gave it five stars since after reading all the reviews I knew that it wasn’t great for taking pictures. I wanted an upgrade to be able to received pictures from family and friends…and so much better texting ability. Also in upgrading and buying it directly I have maintain my cell bill low….Amazon had the best price too. Happy happy happy!!!

BEWARE! Incorrect information on this phone. – BEWARE! Either the staff of this company do not know how to unlock phones (as it is advertised) or they are trying to mislead people. I ordered this phone in June and had it delivered to me here in Ecuador. The phone is locked. I have spent many hours and money hiring taxis to take me to a larger town over an hour away in the hopes that techs could unlock the phone and I could get AT&T removed from the phone. One of the bullets in the phone description claims you can use any carrier. Yet the phone comes pre-loaded with AT&T (who claim they can not unlock the phone either). So I paid for an unlocked phone that is not unlocked – spent a lot of time and money trying to get this phone unlocked and usable here in Ecuador and also paid for a plan that I can not use, because the phone will not work. The description of this phone is definitely not correct. BEWARE!

So far so good! – I can also confirm this phone will work with Republic Wireless BYOP plans. I took mine 2 manual update rounds and then it was able to be recognized as an approved phone. I also had to download a different text message app than the default phone app. Republic walked me through the majority of it.

Supplier shipping faulty equipment and not supporting customer. – This was a gift for my teenage daughter, it took a few weeks of experiencing irregular issues for it to dawn on her that she should let me know it was not working correctly. It then took another week for me to see that there was an actual issue with the phone. The phone would work as expected but suddenly it would not power on or would suddenly stop working for no apparent reason. Once I pinpointed that there indeed was an issue, I reached out to the supplier for assistance but they refused service or refund. After more trouble shooting we figured out that the phone had been shipped with a faulty battery. I ordered a new one and it is now working.

Cheap, functional, and Republic Wireless compatible. – This is not an iphone, but it is cheap, functional, and it gives you all of the basic services/abilities that a good smartphone should offer. It is best for people who want or need a basic smartphone, but hate the idea of paying $600 for a name. I can confirm the claim that this phone is compatible with Republic Wireless once you purchase and install their sim card, and upload the series of Samsung updates – if you try to access the Republic app prior to updates, it will tell you that the phone is not compatible, so be patient. Mine required two updates prior to being recognized by the Republic app as compatible. All-in-all, this phone was exactly what I was looking for, at a reasonable price.

Awesome!!! – I have had the same kind of phone with no trouble for 9 years!!. I did not want some very fancy phone and this one is awesome. It is a smaller type phone but it has EVERYTHING you could ever want!!!! I brought it to a T mobile Store and they transferred everything from my old phone to this phone for free. It works just perfectly!!!
