-

Does the shop give you an invoice ?
-

Great phone, 100% functional and FAST, with a few small chips on bezel – I purchased this used from a new seller (Richarc93) who was very courteous and extremely helpful. It was in decent condition, though the phone did have a few more chips on the bezel and light scratches on the screen than I had expected, but nothing drastic. The seller did state “normal wear and tear” but I would have expected fewer dings and chips along the edges, especially for a phone always kept in a case. It was still on Android 4.4.4 (KitKat), which is great, considering the problems with Android 5.x.x (Lollipop). It is 100% functional, was not rooted, and is very fast. When inside a case (UAG), the chipped bezel is not visible. All in all, happy with this purchase.

tl;dr great deal, minimal issues, lot of phone for the $ – Big fan of this phone for a number of reasons. I originally bought one for a steal when they were much more expensive, but recently damaged the battery terminal, and while it’s fine, I can’t risk my phone going out, so had to buy a new one.

Great phone but – The phone arrived much earlier than the estimated time and I was happy about that. However, there are several issues I have. One of the main selling points of why I wanted a Note 4 was the quick charge option. The quick charge option does not work. The quick charge charger does not work. It took 3 hours with the phone turned off to go from 0% to 20%. The supplied cable is missing the 5th prong on the inside that the device needs to be able to use the quick charger.

Not recommended: short battery life, runs hot and charges hot, and cannot disable updates to a favorable time – Good but not great. Many of the features are superlative. I cannot give it five stars because (1) the battery life is quite short – it does not last a full day of steady use, (2) it gets quite hot as it is running and charging, (3) there is no way to disable updates even temporarily. My provider is TMobile and the provider pushes out the updates. In mid August 2016, two weeks before I left for a two month stay in Europe, TMobile pushed out the upgrade to Marshmallow. With plenty of time to deal with any upgrade issues, I quickly installed it. (Always be connected to a power source during update.) But the day before I left, I started getting notifications about a firmware update, not something to fool around with. I depend on my phone when on travel and did not want to risk problems on the eve of my departure. From that date onward, I had to deal with insistent, persistent interruptions of activity in order to shutdown the update notification window. It would popup 3 times in succession and then take a short break. I met numerous fellow travelers who reported issues after they updated their phones. So I was glad I put up with the nuisances but not at all glad that I could not disable them until I had a convenient time to do the update. Shocking disregard for the needs of their clients and shocking over estimation of the reliability of their upgrade process, neither of which has any basis in reality.
