NOT brand new – When first removed from packaging, this phone booted with the ATT splash screen despite the box claiming it was unlocked. After plugging in a Verizon SIM card, it rebooted and operated properly.

If I had to replace my Note9, this is what I would get. – Got this phone to replace an iPhone 4 so size was considered for this device. This phone has got to be my favorite phone on the market right now. Although it might be missing some features of it’s larger siblings, it is still a great package for the price of admission and what you are missing (or what may have changed) are things I find worth the trade. It does not have 4k resolution and it is missing a camera on the rear and front, but you still get a wide angle lens front and back. The photo and video quality are grand. Not the best, but the quality isnt something to complain about. You get a fingerprint sensor in one of the most intuitive places that works quite well and is fast. You do not get a heart rate sensor on this model unfortunately.

***NOT NEW! Verizon IMEI. Phone previously activated.*** Seller issued refund with no issues. – The pink phone is being listed as NEW and UNLOCKED on ALL CARRIERS with a full 1 year warranty. Because of multiple reviews on this vendor from people saying they ordered new, but got refurbished, I was skeptical, but I was running out of options for getting this phone new and unlocked, especially since all vendors currently selling this phone as new are NOT authorized sellers for Samsung. I contacted Export Tek and they said it was new and unlocked on all carriers. When I received this phone, I still had misgivings, so I contacted Samsung to check if it was indeed unlocked. It turns out that this phone is a VERIZON phone. I contacted Verizon and they also verified it is a Verizon phone and that they do not know whether it is unlocked or whether or not they can unlock it. How can a phone be BOTH VERIZON and UNLOCKED? I contacted Export Tek about it and I was just told that it is definitely unlocked. But being NEW and UNLOCKED and VERIZON at the SAME TIME makes no sense! I contacted Samsung again and I was told that the phone with the IMEI number on the phone I received shows that my NEW phone was actually activated on July 11, 2019 and that it is NOT eligible for the full one year warranty because it was previously activated. I did not open the box, so I cannot verify whether or not it is indeed unlocked. However, a phone that is supposedly unlocked by Samsung (but yet is actually a Verizon phone), and also supposedly new (but yet was actually previously activated) means this phone is not what I expected based on the product details.

Phone was open box, not new – Phone came with screen protector which had 2 tiny bubbles in it. SO it had been used or at least opened and handled. Not new in box.

Love this phone – This phone has been great and takes great photos. A minus is the fingerprint reader for sign in. I went carefully through all the steps to set it up, but it still doesn’t read my fingerprint so I have to manually enter my unlock code. Not a big deal to me as I’m used to using the code to unlock the phone. I like its size and also the audio quality which is much better than my previous Samsung phone.
