The phone according to samsung uses gorilla glass or a similar durable glass but in my opinion its best to use a screen protector because the screen is not particularly hard and will scratch. there are software issues between the “sideSync” samsung software and my windows 10 pc but that may be just my setup, as an android device it works. the menu is a bit clugy but all the controls are there one just has to hunt to find them. over all this is not a bad phone to get, specially as a secondary phone, even more so if you are outdoors a lot.

AT&T branded phone doesn’t work well on Mint Mobile. – Despite Mint’s online IEMI checker saying it’s a perfect fit, it is not.

This is a used phone – buyer beware – I have got to say that we all should read the reviews before buying on line as I have to agree with most of the other posts about the condition of the phone I did receive. To start, the phone itself did not work. After charging and turning on the unit, the screen flashed however stayed off, along with the unit beeping and vibrating and the computer voice talking about diagnostics. Clearly this unit has problems. The physical condition was also bad. The camera lens was so scratched that any picture taken would have been awful, the back plate seemed warped and would not close properly and along with various scratches and scuffs it was dirty especially around the microphone. This should have been at least cleaned before it is sent out, besides the advertisement is for a “new” unit. I received this as if it was new in a nice box and everything wrapped as new, but the actual unit was definitely used. I know the actual phone itself is wonderful and this is why I bought it supposedly unlocked for my own use, but buyer beware on “used” products. Had I known all this in the beginning, I would not have even thought about buying it this way.

Good on the go work phone with a few small annoyances – I needed a replacement unlocked Android phone. I also needed it fast, as my other phone had died unexpectedly and I was traveling at the time. I use my phone for work, not for playing around with games or media. After doing some research, I chose this phone and overnighted it to myself. It arrived promptly and well packaged. Although it is an AT&T branded phone I am using it with another carrier and have not had a problem. I do find the start up AT&T music a little bit annoying but I’m told there is an app to silence it which I plan to install. The phone is heavily loaded with AT&T and Samsung apps but with a little rearranging I either deleted them or relegated them to one of the other 4 “home” screens (i.e. out of sight unless I want to see them) and used the specific Home Screen Settings to get rid of the annoying Magazine feature that at first I kept accidentally opening up. Now I only see the apps I care about on the main screen. In spite of all those apps, the phone is *fast* in everything I have used it for so far.
