Good quality phone but…. – This phone worked out of the box. Was notified by phone updated that an update was available for operating system. Tried to download update and the phone malfunctioned halfway through the update. Had to flash the memory with another operating system to get phone to work.

Love it – This is our go to phone. My husband doesn’t like contract phones so he goes through simple mobile. We have to buy his phone outright and this is always the phone we go back to if the newer one breaks. This phone in my opinion is a tank. I’ve had a lot of upgrades since this phone came out and none of them have ever held up the way it does. It is older so it doesn’t have a great battery and it isn’t as fast as my s10+ but we still love this phone.

Samsung for the win 🙂 – I bought this phone to replace my BF’s S5 because he wanted to be able to use his custom case from his existing S5 phone. It truly seems to be a brand new phone, not refurbished or gently used as I fear. The original battery was weak/faulty as it wouldn’t hold a charge, but considering that it probably sat in a warehouse unused for who knows how long. I am not surprised it wasn’t tiptop. When we contacted Amazon, the agent walked us through a couple of things, but when that failed she promptly reimbursed us the price of a new battery. The new battery arrived within two days, and now the phone works beautifully as it should.

Bought it to use on a trade-in Rebate…. Saved me $800 – AT&T has a rebate running, trade in any Samsung Galaxy S5 for up to a $800 bill credit towards new phone. Paid $70 for this S5 and got back $800

Samsung is Awesome! – Samsung really has great products, don’t get me wrong. This battery does not hold a charge. Remember when you played on the gameboy with disposable batteries? You could take the batteries out when they ran out and replace with the SAME battery and it would last a little longer. I tried this with this product and it doesn’t work. Every feature other than the battery works wonders! Be sure you know it’s locked to AT&T and you will be fine!
