-

Does the shop give you an invoice ?
-
After-sales service :
Do they have an after-sales service to have information about the installation or operation (instructions for use). Also in case of problem, it is the seller who takes charge or you must contact the manufacturer or supplier yourself.

Don’t know why people spend so much money on these things. – Had it for two years and it works. Does whatever I need it to do. I am not a smartphone addict; I have it for when I need it and it is fine. I often wonder how others, no matter how addicted they are to holding a phone in their hand and messing with it every 5 seconds, justify how much they spend on both the phone and it’s service plan. I paid $19 for the phone, $10 for a wallet-style case, $8 for a mostly unnecessary microSD card, and haven’t paid more than $49 a year to keep it active. So if you are a cheapskate like me, this…or whatever has replaced it by now…will do the job.

My 1st Trac smartphone – Wanted a cheap smartphone that did not cost much and could control the usage minutes cost. Being my 1st cell phone I don’t have much to go on to compare what else is out there. Like it is android OS and can DL Google apps with plenty of storage, this model came without minutes so need to purchase when I decide to activate. For now I use the WIFI to download google apps. The camera is OK but not great in low light, for features you have a 5.3 inch touch screen, a built in light below the camera, basic installed apps, charge port, volume switch, on/off switch. The processor is probably not the fastest cause of the price and the TCL is a brand I know little about. My need for a smart phone is only for emergency calls or an occasional personal call so at this time the trac phone should meet my basic means.

It’s a smartphone, with near daily OS updates! – I bought this phone during the holidays as an extra phone for my glovebox, in case of any reason. Like an emergency, where my iPhone is out of power, or whatever incident you can think of. It can be nice to have a cheap extra phone. I paid just under $20. Not bad for a fully functional smartphone. I haven’t found any faults with it, except that the camera is not the best, but it’s not bad either. What I have found to be extremely annoying, is that in the last 10 or so days I have been using it, I think I have received updates for its OS almost everyday! Seriously, almost every single day. There may have been one day I didn’t. I know, I know, maybe the updates aren’t installing and its the same update…nope! They are each and everyone, new updates. So I am now trying to figure out how to ignore them, and just go ahead and do it once a month or so. But it is tricky! And, no, there is not a setting for turning on automatic updates, so that these could install at night while I’m sleeping. No, just everyday, when I first turn it on, there is a notification for an available new update. Its crazy!

Cheap phone for a 10 year old – I saw a few negative reviews on this and thought I’d share my experience on this.

Decent Android device for the price – I bought TCL LX 4G Smartphone for $29.99 on February 13, 2019. I use it strictly as an Android device and not as a smartphone, so my review will not have anything on TracFone. I have not tried any of my SIM cards, and I assume the device is locked to TracFone.
