DOES work on the post 3G shutdown AT&T network. Needs VoLTE activated. – While more expensive than the other phones I normally buy, it seems to be a good value. This one is my wife’s. I just ordered one for me.

Best phone but ..AT&T sucks! – I am an absolute lover of Xiaomi phones, this one is no exception. However, once the 3g shutdown happened this phone will not work on any AT&T towers. BELIEVE ME! No matter what line of crap they tell you,IT WILL NOT WORK. With this shutdown….AT&T is dictating which phones they will allow, which is pretty much Apple and Samsung. It makes me really upset and sad. Xiaomi phones are the best. Me and my family have had them since 2017. Even with this phone being 5g, it doesn’t matter….AT&T will lie to you. I have been dealing with them for days. I will never go back to them. Hopefully someday we will be able to use Xiaomi phones in the USA. For now I’ll have to try Motorola. But beware to check the model number for any phone for AT&T compatibility.

Mint/T-Mobile User – This phone works, with some compatibility constraints on Mint (which uses the T-Mobile network). The phone works using 4 of the 5 4G LTE Bands. In an urban or suburban setting, you should have no trouble using this phone. I connect to the 5G service (n41 band) as I’m in a major US city. Use cellmapper.net to see what cell towers and their bands are in your are to determine if the phone will work for you. Don’t let Mint or T-Mobile customer service influence your decision. Make sure you do your homework before buying the phone.

Make sure APN SETTING OR CORRECT – Make sure if your APN is correct! Stop with the bs review about phone not working, APN settings if not correct phone will not call out but Internet will work on Net10 , H2O.

Love it. It works on Tmobile. Very smooth in surfing and games – I wonder why some reviews say that this phone does not work with Tmobile. It works. As a matter of fact, I switch from ATT to Tmobile after I bought this 11 model of Xiamoi. This is my second phone with Xiaomi. The last one was redmi 5 plus. This one is much faster and smoother, good for games, war games. The picture edit features are very good with AI picture. Both phones I have come across ads. I don’t know whether it is because of the phone built in apps, or the apps I downloaded. However the seller did not send me the car charger, and the fast charge plug was not US plug. Nevertheless, I did not go after that. My wife uses iphone, my feeling is not much different with this Xiamoi, but 3 to 4 times the price. I am not a fan of Apple.
