It is not a ruggedized phone. – When I searched Amazon for a ruggedized phone, this model came up. I have purchased several phones from BLU in the past and have been satisfied with the quality. They are inexpensive phones that function just fine. This specific model (BLU Tank Mini T650 1.8″ GSM Unlocked 32MB Dual-SIM Flashlight Cellphone) is especially cheap and ridiculously small. The phone works as advertised but it does leave a lot to be desired. I will save it for when my 11 year-old breaks their iPhone.

Doesn’t work on T-Mobile – My wife bought this as our grandson’s first phone with the plan of adding him to our existing family plan, but the phone wouldn’t recognize the SIM card. After 2 cards and several calls back and forth with T-Mobile customer support we found that all new T-Mobile SIM cards are 4G/LTE/5G only. Since this is a 2G/3G phone it won’t work on the T-Mobile network.
