Not Recommended – Ordered this along with a similarity priced European sim card in anticipation of an upcoming trip to Europe. Last minute decision. Cheap price. I’d rather not mess with the sim card in my iPhones for assorted reasons. One’s locked to the carrier anyway. Unfortunately you get what you pay for here … maybe that is … perhaps even less.

Great little phone for screen detoxication – I got this phone after my smartphone broke dow. It was supposed to keep me reachable while I wait for another smartphone to be shipped to me. It ended up serving a much better purpose. I have a phone addiction and this one helps me disconnect from the screen and the apps. I have only had it one week and my mood, energy and focus are tremendously better. I also have lots of time to devote to useful activities. I recommend it for children, elderly people, and people who need to manage their phone addiction. It texts, calls, go on the internet and does the basics, without the addictive screen and apps.

Perfect for what I needed it for! – Perfect for what I needed it for! For some reason (that makes no sense to my brother haha), I wanted to keep my old South FL home phone number. It originally went from a Landline, to Vonage, then to Ooma for 20 years. I switched to the free plan for Ooma (only playing taxes which came out to like $5+ a month). I then decided to take the journey to port it from Ooma to Google Voice. After about 16 days it finally ported over to Ting! Which led me to this phone.

It feeels a little cheap however I believe as long as it is not used to play kickball it wil be durable enough for a backup phone. I bought it for my daughter who called it cute. My frustration has been with getting a sim card that works. First I tried Mint Mobile, their products only work in smart phones. I am now working with red pocket mobile, the first sim they sent went ti a wrong address, my fault. The second sim was fubar. Today I am waiting on a third sim to be mailed out… So I have had this phone for a month and have yet to make a call. Also it has to charge 24 hours out of the box before it will work, so not a phone for anyone in a hurry or who dislikes spending hours on the phone with customer service.
