I was really happy having it so quickly – Phone was new, sealed. It was delivered in one day in Las Vegas. I was really happy having it so quickly. The Android system was updated and it works really good.

May Not Be Unlocked – It’s hard to give this phone a rating but here it is. I bought the US version of this phone last year (H790). It’s a great phone, I used my T-Mobile SIM card with no problems and I hope to keep it another year or two. I bought this international version when it was only $250 because it had the extra data bands for Europe when I travel. When I put the T-Mobile SIM card in I could not use it on their network without entering a network PIN. I thought the SIM card was locked in some way but the T-Mobile agent says it’s the phone. I’m not sure what the problem is but all I could do is send it back.

A great mid tier phone! – Overall I think was the right choice. This is great for me as it will be used mostly in Argentina, where band 4 (and in the near future band 28) are used for LTE. However it works well also on AT&T and T-Mobile coverage areas. Design wise is certainly not the sexiest phone, however on daily basis you learn to appreciate it beside not looking great. Having the fingerprint reader is wonderful. I believe that there’s no return from that feature (I can’t live without it anymore) and it’s certainly the largest benefit I see from my previous phone. Battery is just OK, I would say you could go through the day but paying some attention to the usage. GPS works well (not like the bad ones that came with the LG G2 or G3 for instance) and responds quickly. The phone updated to Android 7.0 almost inmediately and that’s another big PRO: a seamless and clean Android experience! CPU feels ok for the phone though I would have like it to have more RAM (at least 3GB of Ram considering that even my old G2 had 2 GB). Rear camera is better than expected.. The phone has exactly the same screen size as the LG G2, however the body is larger.I do miss the “double tap” on the front to wake it up, something pretty useful while docked in the car. All in all, it’s a great mid-level phone.

just another brick in my junk drawer – I purchased the international version for use in the EU. Used for just over one year and now it has succumbed to the bootloop issue. RIP.

and I really love the whole family – This is the 3rd Nexus phone in our home, and I really love the whole family. My husband had the Nexus 4 about a year after it came on the market, and as the second smart phone he’s ever used (he’d be perfectly fine with a flip phone for the rest of his life) he thought it was user friendly, not too many crazy bells and whistles, and a fair value. Based on how he liked the 4 I decided to get the 5, which I thought had all the same attributes with some well designed upgrades and looked super cool with the white on black. Unfortunately Pokemon Go! took it’s toll on that phone (don’t rollerblade while watching your phone) and I needed to replace it so I thought I’d try out the 5X.

Awesome budget, not an all day battery though – Great value for the price, great looking screen, fast and responsive, light weight for your hand. Fingerprint sensor is quick and awesome. I don’t give it Five Stars because the battery Does not last long enough. Should improve that. And another thing (not a big issue) is that If you turn it ON or reset it, it takes a long time to do it.
