Great but also not… – The phone is definitely tough and it’s a decent phone for the price as is. The covers on the battery and audio jack ports are a pain to open, but that also keeps the water out.

Rugged Phone & A Customer Service Dept that Responds! – Update: 6mos and 1 3″deep puddle later… And I still love this phone! While I was getting dropped off at work the other morning, my cloth bag fell into a puddle. I picked it up but once inside work, I got distracted and forgot about it. That is, until I couldn’t find my phone! It was in the bag, in a plastic tub (in the bottom of the bag) filled with about a half inch of water! Luckily, I had remembered to close the waterproof tabs over the ports. I dried the phone off with an absorbant rag before I turned it on… and I’m typing on it now! No damage from either the fall or being partially submerged in a bit of water for well over 15m. On top of durability, let’s talk storage: I have downloaded more apps on this phone than ever (some that start with phone & run in the bkgrnd). I’ve always rationed my memory like a miser. I haven’t needed to with this phone. And, even though I have unlimited storage space for my photos here (w/ Prime), I still have a couple of thousand on my phone, in addition to some documents, books (audio & digital) – & I still have lots of room and the phone hasn’t slowed! Lona with their customer service was right, I’m so glad I found her & Blackview. Now, since I’m not going to need a new phone for a while, I’m researching their other tech to upgrade some of my other equip.

Comprehensive on balance of quality and features for the money! – The brand name is unhead of , but I went ahead and bought it. I am happy with it for good value . The only drawback is difficulty with inserting cable for charging due ot insufficent clearing for inserting it due to its waterproof cover and the receptable is too deep. dont buy it for taking excellent pictures .. The camera is not crispy and sharp. It is just ok. If you want explemary camera, buy a $500 smartphone that is what you have to pay for. its battery life is good that you can leave it to sleep for several days without any care. I think it is among the best ones for under $200 phones..

Works on gsm networks – I tricked this phone into working on mint mobile. It said incompatible but you can activate the SIM card in another phone and simply drop it in this one. It works fine. No issues. It’s tough durable and fast.

Best Smartphone I’ve Ever Owned – I work in tech, but I think we are over charged for companies to control our information and our experience. This phone has amazing built in tools and features that I have looked for in apps and found lacking, I’ve never found them just built-in. It’s sturdy, it lets you take underwater photos. I am going to be buying at least one back up. I think this phone sets a precident that the rest of the industry should follow.

Care not to hit the phone…. – The phone (4gb Ram, 64 mem) performed like you may expect a lower to mid-range smartphone to act. Fairly fast if you are not gaming, apps worked well, good battery, but honestly, I tripped on a concrete step and hit my phone, the screen broke (that was fine and expected) but the thing stopped taking a charge so the next day it was finished permanently. I am buying another because it was more me than the phone, but for all the hype on how tough this thing is, maybe not so much. That said, a standard phone would have been in pieces.
